Sophia's first show and tell day at Pre-K was this past Tuesday. She was supposed to bring something that starts with the letter A. So after careful consideration (and much input on Facebook from friends), we decided to bring her alligator xylophone. Actually, it worked out pretty great because it was also the first day of music class.
For the first month, they're just doing musical things. Then next month, they start sitting at the piano, individually, and doing an actual piano lesson. Mrs. Kay comes every Tuesday. After so many weeks, Sophia will have a recital where she will actually play something on the piano. I still don't know the time table on that.
Of course, Sophia loved every minute of music class.

Wow! Sophia's pre-k place looks so cool! Fun murals and toys AND music class! Can I go with her when they do the letter T?!

Wow - I can't believe there is an actual music teacher that comes in...that's amazing!! What a fancy pre-k!!And how nice of the teacher to take pictures for you!
