Saturday was pretty exciting for Sophia. First of all, she got her flu shot in the morning (not so exciting), but she did get a cookie for being good at the doctor's office.
Then we headed over to Nana and Paw-Paw's house to pick up the Shark Steam Mop that they'd borrowed so we could clean our kitchen floors. Her cousin Jack was there because he'd spent the night so she not only got to see her Nana and Paw-Paw but her cousin Jack (and her Aunt Amy when she came to pick up Jack).
After that, we headed back to our house to help dad clean. Man was our house dirty!! Good thing I had such a great little helper!
After all that cleaning, Sophia went down for a very long nap...3 hours!
When she woke up, she was happily surprised to find Uncle Brice and Aunt Cynthia waiting to play with her. And they didn't come empty handed either. They brought her animal crackers.
Sophia loved them but was willing to share with all of us.
After all that playing, it was time to cook dinner. Sophia now likes to pull her chair up to watch us prepare food. I let her help when possible. She's always saying, "My turn!'. She refers to this as her chair now, because she no longer uses a booster seat.
Then it was bath time!
And more playing!
What a fun filled day!!! Now if our house could stay clean for longer than a day, I would be sooo happy!

That does sound like a fun day! Is it bad that I got a little sad when you mentioned the doctor's office? I wanna take Emily there for a flu shot too. :(
Looks like you were a great helper, Sophia!!
