We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day on Saturday. Russell cooked Roulades (pounded out round steak, rolled up with bacon and onions a little paprika), homemade mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and garlic, and asparagus. Yum!!! Russell also got cake balls from Celebrity Cafe. They are soooooo good!!!!! I made a cake with the help of Sophia.
I just love when we actually find a need for one of my favorite pans, my Le Creuset dutch oven from Williams-Sonoma. I just love the color, Lemongrass.
Unfortunately it has to be hand washed so we don't use it that much (plus it's super huge).
It was a very relaxing evening.
The next day we made plans to go eat lunch with Nana and Paw-Paw. We met at Fuzzy's for a delicious lunch. After that, we headed back to their house to visit for a little while. Sophia has been on this kick where she has to wear a dress and tights. So today, she wore a dress and tights.
She got a gift bag from Nana and Paw-Paw that was full of special treats like candy and this cool coloring book that comes with special markers.
Sophia entertained us with her rendition of Old McDonald (see other post for the video).
Sophia is getting very good at holding a pencil.
Sophia made a painting for them but I forgot to photograph it. It was a good visit followed by a good nap.
