Jack's Birthday Party

On Saturday afternoon/evening, we gathered over at my folks house to celebrate Jack's birthday. He will be 6 on the 21st.

And how cool for Sophia??!! She got to open her birthday present from her Nana and Paw-Paw.

She got a backpack from FAO Shwartz from their trip to NY that was filled with lots of cool stuff. Clothes, clothes for her Build-A-Bear friends, books, Hello Kitty panties, etc.

It was a swim party so of course we're all in our swim gear.

Myra, their dog, even got to come.

After a little swimming it was time for cake. 

Somehow Sophia always manages to be front and center when it's gift or cake time. Smart girl!

And then the Herron's (my sister Robin, her husband Tim and their two boys, Koby and Will) arrived. They had been at a family funeral on Tim's side of the family.

They did a hula hoop contest. I think Aunt Robin won. But Sophia won for style.
