Sophia's Birthday Week Begins.....

The banner is hung....

the balloons still have air....

and Sophia's new bike....

arrived with great care. 

Sophia has been asking for a bike since Christmas.

And once it arrived (from Target, via my trunk, it's her present from us), she couldn't wait to put it together.

Lucky for everyone, especially Russell, it was a very easy process.

After swim lessons on Tuesday, Sophia couldn't wait to give it a spin.

Unfortunately for her, bikes are way much more fun than they look, when you're first starting out. 

It was a little more work than she thought, even with training wheels.

She couldn't wait to show her dad what she could do, once he got home from work.

Good thing we've got swim lessons, dance and soccer lined up to help develop those leg muscles.
