The Girls Are Coming to Town!

Aunt Brandy and the girls cousins (Anna and Maddie) were due in town on Sun. We weren't sure what time so we tried to pass the time without watching the clock. So we explored the backyard.

 

Both bunnies had to come of course.

They have a canopy on their back deck so we had some shade (even though the temps were in the high 70's, low 80's).  Super cool to us! On a couple of the rainier days, I broke out the yoga pants and sweatshirt.

Grandpa K cooked dinner and Sophia wanted to help set the table.

When finally the girls arrived!!!! Sophia was so excited! I can't believe they're going into the 6th grade already. Seems like yesterday that they were born and in the N.I.C.U.

After dinner, we went on a walk and went squirrel hunting.

Not the live variety of squirrels but the statues they have all over the city.

Then back home to get changed into jammies and to watch some TV before bed.
