Well, we're back from the Dr. and it's strep. Can't believe it. No fever. She's had it twice before and has always had a fever. Oh well, guess the powers that be didn't get the memo that it's Sophia's birthday week and this is totally unacceptable.
But this isn't stopping her. The strep diagnosis makes sense now because she didn't want to eat much of anything today. When offered Nilla Wafers, she politely declined. More like grunted but who's counting?
So for birthday week dinner, we opted to offer a cupcake (which she only ate the icing, gotta get her chocolate on) and some ice cream, which she devoured.
