Some of you that also follow my craft blog may remember the Christmas wreath I made here, at Kaminski's Creations.
While blow drying my hair Wednesday morning at around 5:30 a.m., I heard a loud crashing sound. Yep, I heard it over the hair dryer. I ran into the living room to find my wreath on the floor...broken into tiny little pieces.
It's really weird because it didn't bring down the garland, any of the trees, or the apothecary jar filled with ornaments. It's like it jumped up and dove for the floor. It did knock over the stocking holders and my HO-HO-HO blocks but they weren't damaged in the fall.
Luckily, after I cleaned up the mess, I discovered that most of the wreath was fine. It was the bottom section that broke. So I was able to add on ornaments and disguise the damage. The frame on the other hand could not be repaired. I was, however, able to remove the ribbon so that I can buy another frame and attach them to it. And I just thought I was finished with decorating for Christmas. :)

Yikes! Cool that it could be salvaged though...it's beautiful.
Yikes! Agree with Allison that it is beautiful....sounds like elves (certainly NOT Santa's elves!) were up to some mischief!
:( ~sorry!
