Another Trip to the Museum

Well, since Sophia's squirts/diarrhea put our potty training on hold, I decided a trip the museum might be fun. So we got her cousins Will and Koby and her Aunt Robin to go with us (Aunt Amy and Jack couldn't come).
On a side note: What the heck Ft. Worth? Charging $5 everywhere to park? Greedy much? What with all the drilling you still don't have enough revenue? Sorry for my rant. Moving on.
Sophia had a great time bossing her cousins around.
Notice her pulling on Koby? She wants him to go with her.

It seems like every time we go, there is something new to see.
They added a bunch of new experiments and toys to this room.
They added this section with tons of toys and games.
Of course Sophia loved going up these stairs. She wouldn't let me just carry her up. She wanted to do it all by herself.

I was afraid that the boys wouldn't be very entertained running around with Sophia because they're into older stuff. But they seemed to enjoy it too.

Sophia, who is now a professional shopper, wasted no time getting a shopping cart. She's had so much practice at home.
And she's off again. She spies the water fun outside! Go! Run! Quick!

The ambulance seat was finally empty so Sophia could have a turn.
Then she saw the little girl wanted a turn and got up. Can you believe that???? Way to go Sophia!

Here she sees something she wants but she's controlling herself. She waited until the girl was finished and then swooped in.

Here's a cool special exhibit they have dedicated to the inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci.

Thanks Robin, Koby and Will for a great time. Sorry you had to pay for parking. And thanks for the pics!

That's another thing on my to-do list this summer--go to the museum...mental note--take 5$ for parking! :)

Good thing they keep changing things up, Sophia might get bored! She will be an expert by the end of the summer.

I haven't seen those new exhibits - they look great! And just so you know - you can park across the street in a lot just past the museum - it's free - but you're forced to cross the busy road :) I did that once with 4 kids and it was not fun - I pay to park now! :)
