Wow! Summer flew by and so did the beginning of the school year. I can't believe it's already September and I haven't blogged in forever. So to get caught up, I doing one post for our entire summer. I'll do a separate one for her birthday.
Our summer started off with me having back surgery. I was ordered to be on bed rest for 2 weeks and then after that I was still supposed to take it easy. No long trips in the car or by plane. So after I could drive again, we did a few things around the metroplex. Also, I'll do a separate post about what she did with her aunt and cousins because I was there for those.
We went to the Sea Life Aquarium. We had discounted tickets and luckily for us it was totally empty.
This was Sophia's favorite outing of the summer (with me).
We went to Legoland.
We went to a Ranger game with my parents and Aunt Robin. Boy was it a hot day but there was a nice breeze.
We got to pet-sit my sisters hamster Ginger when she went out of town.
The cats enjoyed it too. They never got rough with her. They were more curious than anything.
Sophia was a little aggressive with her though and got bitten a few times (notice the band aids).
We celebrated our mom's birthday.
We celebrated Father's Day.
We celebrated our June birthdays at the pool (Sophia and Jack).
We got hair cuts for back to school.
We got free Chick-fil-A for dressing up like a cow. Boy was it crowded.
And Sophia learned how to blow bubbles with bubble gum.
Another thing we did was binge watch a show called Psych. If you haven't seen it, it's quite hilarious.
