For Sophia's last game of the season, they were playing 3 players down and without their coach. So she pretty much played the entire game which is about 60 minutes.
And because it was the last game, she was trying even harder for that elusive goal. We've tried telling her that another way to score a goal is to pass it to your player and they score (an assist).
She tried so hard!
Fell down many times but got right back up with no tears and kept right on playing.

No goal, but it's not for lack of trying. She played her heart out!
After the game we did trophies and cupcakes!
Not sure what was her favorite, the chocolate cupcake or the trophy?
We are so proud of her progress. She's come a long way baby!
