Corning Museum- Corning, NY

For day 2 of our trip, we went to the Corning Museum of glass in Corning New York (good thing we'd planned on an indoor activity because it was till raining).

They had a modern/contemporary section.

Five minutes into the visit and Sophia already wants to be carried.

I guess she's not a fan of modern glass. Moving on to another section.

They had ancient and historical examples of glass from around the world.

Some pieces Sophia wanted to see twice.

Once again...."No more pictures, mom!".

And what would a glass museum be without some Tiffany glass?

I took this picture for my dad, the baseball fan.

And they even had a pair of glass slippers fit for a princess.

So not ready for Disney yet....if she can't through this museum, she is defiantly not ready for Disney World.

They even had glass chairs. Unfortunately, they were blocked off so we couldn't sit in them. Although, I'm not sure how comfortable they would be.

Cool chess set!

They also have a glass blowing demo.

They also have this interactive technology section.

Lenses! My favorite!

And just in case you wondered what Corning, New York looks like....here it is!
