A huge ice storm swept through here Thursday night and so school was canceled on Fri. (and Mon.). So we decided to venture outside to see how bad it was.
And it really was all ice.....
But it was snow to Sophia. And she loved it.
We went back outside on Saturday, just to get out of the house. I was also trying to get a decent picture for Christmas cards, which I still haven't made or ordered yet. And she kept giving me this face.
So we might be skipping Christmas cards this year.
Her favorite thing was eating icicles.
Sophia and I are home today and Russell went to work. Hopefully he'll make it there in one piece. And it's back to school tomorrow. But it's only 9 school days until Christmas vacation. YeeHaw!

Yikes, makes me COLD just thinking about possibly being anywhere near all of that ice. ;) Good luck with the pictures… it can be quite frustrating when the subjects are not agreeable.
