Russell's Family Party

Blogger isn't cooperating with me so I'm having to retype this post. So it may be missing parts of it's original content.
This past Sunday we headed over to my mom and dad's house to celebrate Russell's birthday which was officially on the 11th. This years party was much better than last years party (Sophia threw up twice at the party). The only complaints that Sophia had this year were that her ear hurt (so Russell took her to the Doctor today and sure enough she has an ear infection).
Russell requested Chicken Parmesan, chocolate cake and a day where everyone just chilled out.
We couldn't find the birthday candle we normally use so we improvised with this humongous one.
I think Sophia was more excited about cake and presents than Russell was.

Sophia senses there is more to the hat than meets the eye.

And she's right! Birthday money!
And after Sophia went down for her nap....
I followed Russell's instructions for chilling out....

by the fire...with my book. Heavenly!!

That birthday candle is fantastic! I think it should become the traditional birthday candle for everyone.
Cute pic of you kissing your hubs!

Ahhh - that does look nice! As does the rest of the party. It appears that Miss Sophia REALLY enjoyed herself! :) I agree with Tri - cute pic of you and Russell.

Looks like mama got the best gift! Although, daddy looks pretty cute in the hat!
