Stephanie Meyer...Oh My!

Sorry dad (and others), no pics of Sophia.

So it's day 2 of my Spring Break. I went and did the elliptical at the Hurst rec center. I was driving out to the yoga center I had a groupon on, and I heard them announce that Stephenie Meyer was going to be at the Lincoln Park Barnes and Noble at 2 that day.

What the what???

So after heading home, I headed out to Lincoln Square.

So off I went to Barnes and Noble Lincoln Square. Yes, I said Lincoln Square. After I made arrangements with my sis Ames and my hubs, I realized the radio really did say Lincoln Park instead of Lincoln Square because I drove to the place where the Lincoln Square Barnes and Noble used to be. Darn! I knew they said Lincoln Park not Lincoln Square. Any who!

Thank goodness I have a husband that's willing to navigate me.

So off I drove to Lincoln Park which is Dallas (In fact, I believe it's the same book store we saw Emily Giffin at. But I could be wrong. You know me and directions).

Yep, I just said Dallas. Dallas traffic and everything about Dallas scares the bejesus out of me. I hate driving in Dallas. And this was by myself.  And if you know how much I hate driving in Dallas, plus not knowing where I'm going, you might have some sense of  my panic.

Here's a shot driving in! Love the sky.

Once I made it there, I had to buy one of her books to get a ticket. So I bought The Host since I don't have that one and haven't read it. Sure wish they'd had hard copies instead of paperbacks. I was poorly equipped.

This is when I heard screaming from above. I guess  Stephenie and the actors had arrived.

And I waited. And waited. And waited. It felt like forever.

While waiting I shopped for books. Apparently the whole Grey's Anatomy is a real book just a different spelling?
They let up the A-E wristbands. After that, they started letting the rest of us up. I had a k wristband.

And finally, I got to meet her. I expressed my thanks for her risking carpal tunnel. Darn! I'll think of something better next time.

And we got to meet the movie characters.

Loved the one on the right! He was super nice.

And then back home....now what were those directions again????

I did make it home safe and sound, without Russell's help.:)

So proud of you for making the trek to Dallas on your own (with Russell in your ear!) Totally worth it! Cheers to living without regret!
