The Ballpark in Arlington Field Trip

On Tuesday, Sophia's PK got to go on a field trip to the Ballpark in Arlington. And I was lucky enough to get to go with them.

We got to go in the press box.

We got to see them mow the lawn. They mow it everyday during the season.

There's the dugout.

It was really weird being there when it was empty and so quiet.

We got to go into a suite. The suite is totally awesome. You have an air conditioned room with a perfect view of the field. But they also have stadium seating on the balcony. It has a bathroom, food, drinks, etc. You pretty much never have to leave the room.

We got to go to  the media room where the Rangers do all of their press conferences.

We weren't supposed to go up on the stage and sit in the chair, but Allison and I did anyways. We got busted at the end but our tour guide Keith was very forgiving.

We got to stand outside the locker room. We weren't allowed to go inside (even though the team isn't even in town). Boo! Allison and I thought about sneaking in, but didn't want to upset Keith.

We got to go in the Rangers dugout.

We weren't allowed to go on the field. But were standing within a foot of it.

Then we got to go each lunch in the stands.

Here's the bull pen.

Sophia had a great time. I think she prefers the stadium quiet and all to ourselves.
