Christmas Eve

Trying to get caught up on blog posts. I've been battling my back and I'm happy to say it feels much better. However, Russell and Sophia were both diagnosed with the flu today so hopefully I won't be battling that next.

Now for my post....
Rewind to Christmas Eve.

We went over to my parent's house for our usual family dinner/gift exchange.

Sophia finally found someone other than Nana to play babies with....her 2nd cousin Payton.

To be honest, I didn't take many pics. I was feeling kind of lazy and my back hurt...blah, blah, blah.
So here is a  pic of our gift exchange. It's the kind where you choose a number and based on the number you choose, get to choose a gift. You can steal, etc.

Then some played Bingo, while others like myself, iced their backs. :)

Sophia got to call the letters and numbers for Bingo.

Tim helped supervise and make sure she was calling the right letters and numbers.

And helped her out with a few numbers (those darn numerals 11-19....tricky ones).

And some even did the annual hot tub to finish off the evening.

Not us. It was too flippin' cold and I don't even want to imagine what my body would look like in a bathing suit. Plus that would involve shaving. No thanks!

Sophia preferred to run around the drive way.

We left shortly after that and headed home for bed. But Sophia reminded us that we needed to make our reindeer food (a little raw oatmeal and sprinkles from her ice cream stash).

Next was to leave out some cookies and milk  for Santa.

After she went to bed, Russell got his hiking boots to make a mess and leave a few shoe prints.

Night, night. Hope Sophia made the good list.
