Christmas Afternoon/Evening

I liked this pic because it kind of imitates her dress.
So after Sophia had a nap, she got changed into her Grinch outfit but chose to wear her black tights with it instead of the pants that came with it.
I just loved her expressions in all of these.

Uncle Brice and Aunt Cynthia came over around 4 and Sophia was in a shy but good mood (but warmed up very quickly).

She was even brave enough to show Uncle Brice her castle.

Next, it was time for her to open her gift from them which was a baby set which included a stroller, pack n play, bouncy seat and play mat.

She loved it! I thought this pic below was funny because she manages to squeeze her new laptop in right beside her baby.

Then, it was time for video time with Grandpa and Grandma K who live in New York. It felt very weird this year to either not be traveling ourselves or to not have any traveling guests in town.

Then it was time to run the train.

After that, we ate dinner (ham, twice baked potatoes and green beans wrapped in bacon). But sorry, didn't take any pics of that.
Then it was time for a book or two before bedtime.

Night, night, sweet girl!

Wow! Christmas just came and went in a whirlwind. It always does but it seems even faster now that I have my own child.

It was a great Christmas! I'm very thankful to have such great family. We don't always get along or see eye to eye, but we're family and I love you forever, no matter what.

Note to self: Make a list of what you want to purchase for gifts for Sophia instead of just going crazy at Toys R Us and Target.

Looks like a perfect afternoon. My fave is the picture of her smiling in front of the tree. So cute! Plus, every Mommy needs to be able to multi-task... she may have to blog on her walk - I get it!

The many faces of Sophia...they are all so precious and fun! She scored on the baby stuff...too cool! What sweet hugs she gave to her aunt and uncle.
