Icing the Cookies

After Sophia got home from school on Tuesday, we decorated the sugar cookies we made the other day. Sophia loved helping with adding drops of food coloring to the icing (as you can see by her hands which are still blue).

I made the icing a little runny. I haven't made icing in forever.

As predicted, Sophia loved adding sprinkles.

After she iced a few cookies, she wanted to take a cookie break and sample her work.

Then is was back to work icing the rest of the cookies.

Unfortunately, Sophia wanted to add sprinkles to ALL the cookies. I tried telling her I like mine without sprinkles, but she didn't listen.
Oh well, she had fun and that's all that matters, right?

Having fun is DEFINITELY the most important part. That and quality control...you must ALWAYS sample your work. Good job, Sophia!

YUMMY!!! They must be delicious by the look on Sophia's face--she definitely doesn't have a poker face!! and I love the pic where all the icing is ready and Sophia looks like she is saying "ta da!" CUTE!

That looks very fun!! I agree with Tricia... every good business has someone qualified in quality control.
